Jangan Lupa Bahagia
Ulla (Alghifari Jasin) is the eldest of three siblings, along with Imma (Jasmine Risach) and Ikbal (M. Akif D). A final-year university student, Ulla is forced to leave his studies after his father passes away. Amid his grief, he is faced with another difficult reality: the house they live in is about to be reclaimed by its owner and rented to someone else. Ulla has no choice but to continue his father’s side business, travelling around the neighborhood selling household goods. He struggles to earn a living and provide a decent home for his two younger siblings. One day, he discovers that his youngest brother has entered an e-sports competition in hopes of winning a cash prize of Rp10 million, with the help of his two friends, Tumming (Nur Ichsan Hasyim) and Abu (Ahmad Zuhael).
Filmed in 2022, this locally produced film finally reached cinemas on 10 September 2026. The story, which portrays the realities faced by the family of a non-permanent teacher, is presented authentically through the distinctive Makassar dialect and features local comedians Tumming and Abu. The film attracted 300,000 moviegoers in its first three days of release. The Indonesian Film Censorship Institution (LSF) has classified Jangan Lupa Bahagia for audiences of all ages (SU). (ibn)
