It Was Just an Accident
Vahid (Vahid Mobasseri), a former political prisoner in Iran, accidentally encounters Eghbal (Ebrahim Azizi), an intelligence officer who once tortured him in prison. The torture had left Vahid with permanent kidney failure. Although his eyes were always blindfolded during the torture, Vahid recognizes Eghbal by the squeaky sound of his prosthetic leg. Driven by vengeance, Vahid impulsively kidnaps Eghbal with the intention of burying him alive. Yet, doubts begin to creep in when Eghbal insists that Vahid has mistaken him for someone else. To confirm Eghbal’s identity, Vahid must reunite with several of his former cellmates Shiva (Mariam Afshari), Golli (Hadis Pakbaten), Ali (Majid Panahi), and Hamid (Mohamad Ali Elyasmehr).
