Ching Tak Ming (Kevin Cheng), the Head Investigator of Hong Kong’s Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC), is assigned to investigate a corruption case within the professional boxing industry. The case implicates a gym owner and former boxing champion, Tsang Lok Hang (Jason Piao Pai), who is involved in the smuggling of illegal cigarettes and the bribery of customs officials. As the investigation deepens, a series of mysterious financial transactions are discovered to be connected to individuals close to Ching Tak Ming himself.

Determined to clear his name, Ching Tak Ming continues his relentless efforts to dismantle the corruption network from within. The screenplay was co-written by Edmond Wong, the screenwriter of Dragon Tiger Gate (2006) and Ip Man(2008). A graduate of universities in Ontario and Massachusetts, Wong is known for his expertise in martial arts–themed screenplays.
