Mabel (Piper Curda), an animal-loving girl, uses futuristic technology to transfer her consciousness into the body of a realistic robotic beaver. Disguised as an animal, she enters the world of wildlife to communicate with and understand their lives. However, her mission becomes complicated when she befriends a real beaver named George (Bobby Moynihan). Together, they work to protect the beavers’ habitat from the threat of greedy property developers.
Daniel Chong gained recognition after winning at the BAFTA Children’s Awards 2016 for his animated series We Bare Bears (2015–2019), which also received a Primetime Emmy Awards nomination in 2018. He was previously honored at the Annie Awards 2014 for Outstanding Achievement in Storyboarding for Toy Story of Terror! (2013) during his time at Pixar. Following years of contributing to major projects such as Inside Out (2015), his directorial debut, Hoppers, was officially announced at the D23 Expo 2024. The Indonesian Film Censorship Board (LSF) has classified the film for audiences of all ages (SU). (arr)
