The Home
Max (Pete Davidson), a troubled young man looking to rebuild his life, takes a job at a seemingly ordinary nursing home. At first, the place appears to be just another facility for the elderly quiet, mundane, and routine. But things soon take a chilling turn after the mysterious and tragic death of one of the residents. Drawn deeper into the facility’s eerie atmosphere, Max begins to suspect that dark secrets lie beneath the surface. His investigation leads him to a forbidden area on the fourth floor, a place cloaked in mystery and off-limits to everyone. As he unravels the web of sinister truths involving both staff and patients, Max must confront what may be the most disturbing chapter of his own life.
Blending psychological horror with mind-bending hallucinations, The Home marks Pete Davidson’s first foray into the horror genre departing from his previous comedic roles in The King of Staten Island (Judd Apatow - 2020) and Bodies Bodies Bodies (Halina Reijn - 2022). The Indonesian Film Censorship Institution (LSF) has classified this film as suitable for viewers aged 17 and above due to its intense themes and violent content.
