Greenland: Migration
Five years after a massive disaster that devastated much of the Earth following a comet impact, John (Gerard Butler), his wife Allison (Morena Baccarin), and their son Nathan are forced to leave their underground bunker in Greenland as it becomes increasingly uninhabitable. Believing that the comet’s impact zone may have transformed into a vast land capable of supporting new life, they embark on a perilous journey across a shattered Europe in search of a safer refuge where humanity might endure.
During this migration, the family confronts extreme natural conditions, limited resources, and violent conflicts with other survivor groups who are also struggling to stay alive. Greenland: Migration is the sequel to Greenland (2020), continuing the Garrity family’s fight against global catastrophe. Starring Gerard Butler, who also serves as a producer, the original film grossed US$52.3 million worldwide. Highlighting moral dilemmas, family bonds, and human sacrifice amid global extinction, the film portrays hope for the survival of humanity and civilization in a post-apocalyptic world. The Indonesian Film Censorship Institution (LSF) has classified this film for audiences aged 13 and above (ibn)
