Wang Wei (Mo Tse), a mute man, lives with his daughter Rainy (Yang Enyou). His life changes drastically when Rainy is kidnapped by an unknown group. Wang Wei’s search for his missing daughter begins to show progress after he meets journalist Navin (Joe Taslim). Navin is investigating a child kidnapping and trafficking syndicate based on clues gathered by his wife, Matia (Jija Yanin), who disappeared while pursuing the case. In an effort to rescue Rainy and Matia, Wang Wei and Navin work together to uncover the criminal network behind the abductions.

Filming for the movie took place in Bangkok, Thailand, over a three-month period starting in April 2024. Premiering in the Midnight Madness section of the 50th Toronto International Film Festival in September 2025, the film is estimated to have been produced with a budget of US$20 million. Joe Taslim and Yayan Ruhian, who previously appeared together in The Raid (2011), reunite in this film.
