Freakier Friday
Anna (Lindsay Lohan) is called to her daughter Harper’s (Julia Butters) school after a fight with rival Lily (Sophia Hammons). There, Anna meets Eric (Manny Jacinto), Lily’s father, and as two single parents, they quickly fall in love and decide to marry. Eric, originally from England, plans to move Anna, Harper, and Lily overseas. But Harper and Lily, unwilling to let the marriage happen, seek the help of a fortune teller. On one fateful Friday, Anna, Harper, Lily, and Tess (Jamie Lee Curtis) suddenly find themselves swapping bodies, setting off a whirlwind of comedic and emotional chaos.
A direct sequel to Freaky Friday (Mark Waters – 2003), Freakier Friday reunites Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan on screen. The film also marks Lindsay Lohan’s big-screen comeback after I Know Who Killed Me (Chris Sivertson – 2007). In recent years, Lohan has starred in Netflix films such as Falling for Christmas (Janeen Damian – 2022), Irish Wish (Janeen Damian – 2024), and Our Little Secret (Stephen Herek – 2024). LSF has classified Freakier Friday as suitable for audiences aged 13 and above. (nwo)
