Dukun Magang
Raka Mahardi (Jefan Nathanio), a senior university student, is on the verge of giving up after his thesis is repeatedly rejected by his lecturer. His friend Sekar (Hana Saraswati) suggests he explore the world of traditional mysticism as a research topic. Meanwhile, Mbah Djambrong (Wira Nagara), an eccentric and legendary shaman from the remote village of Kalimati—known for its strong supernatural traditions holds deep secrets about the intricate relationship between humans and the mystical realm.
Director Chiska Doppert has previously worked on several films and series, including Pulung Gantung (2025), Radio (2023), Tulah (2022), and Twisted 2 (2021). Dukun Magang is a collaboration between BUMDes Tirta Mandiri Ponggok, Klaten, Central Java, and Dens Vision Multimedia, created to uplift the local community and promote regional tourism. The Film Censorship Institution of the Republic of Indonesia (LSF) has rated this film suitable for audiences aged 13 and above. (dir)
