Struggling with financial problems, she is forced to reconnect with her former assistant, Emily Charlton (Emily Blunt), who has become a successful advertising executive for Dior. Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway) also returns to Runway as a features editor. The conflict intensifies when Emily gains control over the investment funding urgently needed by Miranda.
