Dark Nuns
Sister Yunia (Song Hye-kyo), a nun specializing in exorcisms, believes that Hee-jun (Moon Woo-jin), a patient of psychiatrist Father Paul (Lee Jin-uk), is not suffering from a mental disorder but is possessed by a demon. However, Sister Yunia’s determination to help Hee-jun faces opposition from the local clergy. The Church decides not to support the practice of exorcism as a religious activity. Sister Yunia remains determined to help Hee-jun, as horrifying incidents continue to affect those connected to him. Her persistence brings her together with Sister Mikaila (Jeon Yeo-been), who has a tragic past involving evil forces, causing their missions to become intertwined. Sister Yunia and Sister Mikaila ultimately decide to help Hee-jun despite going against the Church’s decision. They challenge Father Paul’s diagnosis, battle evil forces, and confront their own trauma surrounding life and death.
