An investigation into a sexual assault case that resulted in the deaths of the perpetrators two years earlier places two senior police officers on opposing sides of the justice system. DCP (Deputy Commissioner of Police) Raman Kumar (Prithviraj Sukumaran) is skeptical of the legal system and believes that justice cannot always be fully served. DCP Ajooni Kohli (Kareena Kapoor), on the other hand, believes that the integrity of the police institution is determined by how its duties are carried out in accordance with the principles of the established justice system.
