Caught Stealing
Henri “Hank” Thompson (Austin Butler) is a former baseball player who now works as a bartender in New York City. One day, his neighbor Russ Miner (Matt Smith) asks Hank to look after his cat, Bud, while he travels to London to visit his ailing father. Shortly after Russ leaves, Hank is confronted by two Russian men, Pavel (Nikita Kukushkin) and Aleksei (Yuri Kolokolnikov), who are searching for Russ and force their way into Hank’s apartment. Hank fights back but is seriously injured, losing one of his kidneys in the process. From that moment, he becomes entangled in a series of violent and life threatening events, including the death of his girlfriend, Yvonne (Zoë Kravitz), without fully understanding Russ’s true involvement. The deeper Hank is pulled into the criminal underworld, the more dangerous his situation becomes.
