A Business Proposal
Sari (Ariel Tatum), a food analyst at Bowo Foods, is known for her cheerful and sociable personality. One day, her best friend, Yasmin (Caitlin Halderman), asks Sari to take her place on a blind date. The man she meets turns out to be Utama (Abidzar Al Ghifari), the heir to Bowo Foods, who is known for his cold personality and lack of interest in personal relationships. Utama himself is forced to go on the date at the insistence of his grandfather (Slamet Rahardjo). The fake date gradually brings Sari and Utama closer together, while also creating conflicts that lead to unexpected surprises.
Adapted from the webtoon The Office Blind Date, the story was previously adapted into a Korean drama titled A Business Proposal. During its promotional period, the film became embroiled in controversy following a statement made by one of its cast members, which led to public calls for a boycott. Portraying a spirited and hardworking woman through a lighthearted comedy, the film has been classified by the Indonesian Film Censorship Institution (LSF) for audiences aged 13 and above. (adl)
