BTS Map of the Soul ON:E (HYBE Cine Fest in Asia 2025)
A big-screen version of BTS’s virtual concert Map of the Soul ON:E, broadcast live on 10–11 October 2020 from the KSPO Dome in Seoul, drawing nearly one million viewers from 191 countries. HYBE Cine Fest in Asia also showcases other concert films from HYBE labels, including SEVENTEEN, TXT, and ENHYPEN.
The concert reached 993,000 paid viewers globally, making it one of the largest online concerts of its time. From a technology and production standpoint, the show blends choreography, music, and innovative visual tech such as augmented reality. Riding the global success of “Dynamite,” BTS became the first South Korean group to top the Billboard Hot 100 (debuting at No. 1 in August 2020). Its music video amassed 101 million views within the first 24 hours. Indonesia’s LSF classifies BTS Map of the Soul ON:E (HYBE Cine Fest in Asia 2025) for audiences aged 13 and above. (arr)
