Everyone has their own battle. For Agus (Ajil Ditto), son of Sergeant Major Dedy Unadi (Wafda Saifan) — a veteran of the Seroja War — the absence of his father left him rebellious and undisciplined. But when his father passes away, Agus experiences an emotional and spiritual turning point. He begins to embrace the meaning of his father’s struggle and decides to follow in his footsteps by joining the Indonesian National Army (TNI). Sent into conflict zones, Agus gradually discovers his true self, his fighting spirit, and the essence of service and sacrifice.

Inspired by the book Believe by Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces, General Agus Subiyanto, this film portrays the human cost of duty and patriotism. Producer Celerina Judisari, previously behind Kadet 1947 (Rahabi Mandra & Aldo Swastia – 2021), Satria Dewa: Gatotkaca (Hanung Bramantyo – 2022), and Tanda Tanya (Hanung Bramantyo – 2011), brings the story to life with support from Indonesia’s Ministry of Defense. Set against the backdrop of the Seroja Operation and military missions in East Timor (now Timor Leste), Believe: The Ultimate Battle features realistic battle sequences and striking cinematography.
