BASEMENT – JANGAN TURUN KE BAWAH
Raka (Nicharter), a novelist working at a publishing company in Jakarta, experiences a strange incident in the basement of his office building. He is disturbed by a supernatural entity that follows him all the way home. One day, he encounters Sartika (Sri Kebez), a woman who is crying before entering a locked room in the basement. It is later revealed that a horrific fire had previously occurred in the building, killing several people. The fire had been deliberately set to eliminate employees for the sake of advancing the business. Raka and his friends begin investigating the incident and eventually uncover the wrongdoing of Pak Sugondo (Agus Subekti), the owner of the company.
Boylee Salim’s previous works include Teluh Pocong, released on 7 July 2024, followed by Santet Mayat, which was screened on the Lokalfilm website.
