Jeru (Gilga Sahid) is fighting for his love for Bethari (Happy Asmara), a young woman from a royal family. However, Bethari’s family disapproves of their relationship because of their different backgrounds. Determined to prove the sincerity of his love, Jeru makes every effort to win their approval. One of his efforts is forming a music group called Konco Seneng. Jeru believes that the group will lead him to success. However, Konco Seneng’s journey, supported by Bethari, is sabotaged by Bethari’s own family in an attempt to end their relationship.
Gilga Sahid, who plays Jeru, and Happy Asmara, who plays Bethari, are married in real life. The film marks Happy Asmara’s feature-film debut. The Indonesian Film Censorship Institution (LSF) has classified the film for audiences aged 13 and above. (hes)
