Oyin (Jasmine Suraya Chin), a Malaysian woman, falls in love with Jiwo (Dimas Anggara), an Indonesian man. When Oyin’s mother (Amanda Tan) disapproves of their relationship, Oyin runs away and marries Jiwo in Yogyakarta. After moving into the house inherited from Jiwo’s parents, Oyin begins to experience supernatural terror. She repeatedly dreams that her unborn child will be struck with a pestle. The terror intensifies when Yuli, a student at the studio, becomes possessed by the spirit of Mbok Fatimah and drives Oyin away. Habibah, Eko’s pregnant wife, is killed after being haunted and then struck by a car. Oyin herself suffers a miscarriage after being visited by Mbok Fatimah’s spirit. As Jiwo investigates his family’s past, he discovers that his mother, Rahayu (Leony Vitria Hartanti), once made a dark pact, sacrificing unborn babies in exchange for wealth. With the help of Mbah Jereng (Ingrid Widjanarko), Jiwo attempts to break the curse and discovers the graves of unborn babies beneath the floor of his house—a dark secret that has haunted his family.
