Ahl Al Kahf
In the kingdom of Afasus, seven young believers flee from a tyrannical ruler, King Daqyanus (Khaled El Sawy), who forces idol worship upon his people. Seeking refuge in a cave, they are put into a divine sleep by Allah SWT for 309 years. When they awaken, the world around them has changed and a new righteous king rules the land, and their extraordinary fate becomes a sign for all to witness. Lois (Mohamed Mamdouh), initially skeptical, finally realizes the truth when he discovers that his home has long since become a burial ground.
Adapted from the novel by Tewfik El-Hakim and inspired by the story in Surah Al-Kahf, the film serves as a reminder of steadfast faith, God’s protection, and the great promise of resurrection, one of the central messages of the Quranic chapter.
