28 Years Later
Twenty-eight years after a deadly virus escaped from a medical research lab, the few remaining survivors continue to fight for their lives among the infected. Jamie (Aaron Taylor) leads his son Spike (Alfie Williams) into a forbidden forest overrun by zombies. During their journey, Spike brings along his mother, Isla (Jodie Comer), who suffers from memory loss, in search of Dr. Kelson (Ralph Fiennes), believed to be hiding deep within the woods. Together, they must battle relentless hordes of zombies determined to destroy them.
28 Years Later is the long-awaited third sequel of the iconic series, once again directed by Danny Boyle, following 28 Days Later (Danny Boyle – 2002) and 28 Weeks Later (Juan Carlos Fresnadillo – 2007). This continuation brings back the visceral horror and relentless tension that made the franchise a landmark in zombie cinema. LSF has rated 28 Years Later suitable for audiences aged 17 and above.
