Togashi (voiced by Tori Matsuzaka and Atsumi Tanezaki as young Togashi) and Komiya (voiced by Shota Sometani and Aoi Yūki as young Komiya) see the 100-meter sprint as a reflection of life itself. Togashi is naturally fast and confident, while Komiya runs to escape his troubled past. Training together gradually builds a friendship that eventually turns into fierce rivalry.

As the years pass, Togashi becomes a champion haunted by the fear of losing, while Komiya returns as a true rival. Standing once again on the same starting line, they face each other not merely to determine who is the fastest, but to discover who has truly made peace with themselves.

100 Meters is adapted from a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Uoto, serialized online on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket from November 2018 to August 2019 and later compiled into five tankōbon volumes. Premiering in Japan on 19 September 2025, the film features the theme song “Rashisa” performed by Official Hige Dandism. GKIDS licensed the film for its official English-language theatrical release in the United States on 10 October 2025. The Indonesian Film Censorship Institution (LSF) has rated 100 Meters for audiences of all ages. (ind)
