Narik Sukmo
Kenara Cahayaningrum (Febby Rastanty) decides to spend her vacation in the hometown of her best friend Ayu (Dea Annisa), in the remote village of Kelawangin. On their way, the girls stop at a traditional market, where an old woman gives Kenara a mysterious shawl. The woman claims that the shawl has “chosen” Kenara as its new owner. Unaware of its origins, Kenara accepts the gift and brings it to Kelawangin, a village famed for producing legendary dancers. As soon as they arrive, eerie events start to unfold, all seemingly linked to the shawl, which is believed to have once belonged to a mysterious dancer named Ratimanyu (Kinaryosih). What begins as a peaceful getaway soon spirals into a haunting confrontation with the supernatural.
Narik Sukmo marks Febby Rastanty’s debut in a feature-length horror film produced in 2024 but released in mid-2025. Interestingly, her other horror film Wanita Ahli Neraka (directed by Farishad Latjuba, 2024) was released earlier in November 2024. The Indonesian Film Censorship Institution (LSF) has rated Narik Sukmo suitable for viewers aged 13 plus. (sof)
